Today's early morning purchase .... well I needed something comfortable to take 'her indoors' to the weekend retreat in April !! I think that the heated seat swung it.

So when is this 'Old enough to know better' supposed to kick in?
These latest twins are a marvel of engineering.
I had a test ride on the R1200R, and I wasn't expecting it to be as much of an improvement over the oil and hex heads as it was.
Just amazing performance.
Steve, no, just a terrific offer from another dealer, including discounts on clothing.
I am tempted to buy the old style top box (with back rest) as it is considerably cheaper than the new one (which if colour coordinated and with locks linked into the bike is nearly £1000 I'm told).

I'm only teasing
I use my old top cases (22l and 49l) from my K12GT on my RT, damned if I'm paying the outrageous amount asked for the new ones. Just waited until they came up on ebay.
One proviso I will make if you want the locks recoding they're a mare! when I did it originally it was quick and simple getting the old lock out. Since then I've tried all sorts and haven't yet managed to get them out for recoding, so I've bought a plain key and will get that cut with the K's pattern, it's got no chip in it so won't be able to start the K but will at least allow me to lock the cases when I sell the K
