Wild Pheasant

I've been chatting with the new owners at the WPH to gauge what prices would be offered to us now that it's had its extensive refurb.

They're expecting to be uprated from current 3 star to 4 star status in the summer. Sadly this has impacted on prices.

They offered the same Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package with Fridays meals ad hoc in the new brassiere and the Saturday as a group dinner.

If we do want to use the hotel next year they're quoting £88 Dinner, Bed & Breakfast per person per night.

Just putting it out there for discussion so don't shoot the messenger :)

Well it's a useful benchmark and also early days. If the Lion works out OK and is willing to hold their price for 2018(!) that might be worth sticking with (£55 sounds very good value effectively full board?). Or they may moan 'cos they've priced it too cheaply; or WPH might bring their prices down if they can't make this level stick. Steve, presumably you're reasonably up to date with your market research so this isn't wildly overpriced for 4 star Snowdonia?
