Vintage TV's on in the background.....Heart of Glass video, 1979. I was at RAF Aberporth then, we'd just fired off a Mk II Bloodhound...it hit the Jindivik launched from Brawdy. Job done. But....more importantly....Debbie Harry. WOW!! :wav:

She's incredibly sexy to just listen to, they don't make them like her any more :(

I'm off to get my fix right now.

Yum Yum - saw her live at Hammersmith Odeon - I think January 1980 the Live version of ("Heros" - the Bowie song) which I think was the B side to "Atomic" was recorded the night I was there - It) was their encore - (after which Clem Burke kicked the drum kit off the stage - Now that's is a slim claim to fame on my behalf - I am still listening to the first three albums on my I-Phone now because the tracks as still so damn good. And yes she was damn Se*y

I know I will be in a minority here but not for me. OK until she does that thing with her top lip (which I assume she thinks/was told is sexy) then too much gum not enough teeth; only my opinion I know. Best around at that early Blondie time by a country mile was the dark haired sister in Heart, but then she started with a weight problem, still wonderful voice though. Then schoolboy crush time, how many am I allowed the list is endless... however voice alone I would say the sad girl Karen Carpenter but her brother made her sing those awful smoozie lounge bar tunes!! I love her on "Calling Occupants.."

Ann Wilson (of Heart). An octave range greater than most.

Check out Gretchen Wilson (does Barracuda with Alice in Chains on Youtube), who grew up singing along to Heart tracks, and has appeared on stage with them - and to be honest - can belt out a tune to rival Ann Wilson.
