European Head Light

Post by GerryB »

I plan to move to Spain end of next year .

I want to take my red R1100S over now, put it on Spanish plates and leave it there .

Its a beaut bog standard bike , which will fly through the ITV there .

However, what about the light ?

Head light , must be european compliant .

How do i know ?

Where do I find out , and if needed where do I get a european compliant light ?

Thanks .

I was told that I was ok, but I've heard so many stories about failures and extortionate prices charged to sort it out , I thought I'd ask on here first .

It tells you how to change it in the handbook. No need for stickers.
