I have a complete Remus exhaust system fitted to my R1100S. (02) I have been approached and asked if I wished to sell the system.
I would have to replace with the stock pipes.
Has anyone an idea as to what its worth, and any views on the wisdom of selling.
Cheers

By full system I assume you mean headers, y piece and cans, are you getting an original system + cash as the deal or just cash and you have to source replacement parts?
OE system is heavier and restrictive and bike may need retuning because of cat if you refit it, y pieces are rare apart from the chinese ones( suspect quality?) if you don`t refit cat, header bolts are a nightmare if corroded, and most important Remus cans sound better! just my opinion others may think different I`m sure.

As Al says - it depends on how much money the deal - liberates.
A full Remus system (front-back) must be worth around £400-£470, but if you have to buy a std system - you have to ask if it is worth it.
I'd keep it, and enjoy it - I remember when I fitted a Staintune back-half - the difference was immediately apparent.
If you need convincing - take the bike to an underground carpark, and accelerate from one end to the other...........
