Gloves

Hi, been out on the bike today for a short run and got caught in a pretty heavy shower. The outcome of which is I need a new pair of gloves, can anyone recommend a good waterproof touring glove, sub £100

Ok, I know you said sub £100 but you get what you pay for. The BMW 2-in-1 glove retails £150 but I have seen them down to £125.
They are made by Held with a full leather construction and a cover membrane where you put your hand one side its a leather sports glove and the other a goretex waterproof glove. Very clever.
£25 - one tank of fuel , one takeaway meal.....

I've used these for a few years and they've been awesome, never leaked in some real heavy storms

Check out Spada gloves. I've been using a pair for over 5 years and they've never leaked and were warm. Cost less than £50 although I think the equivalent gloves are now about £70 - well worth it IMHO

Aldi do a waterproof glove,which I bought on Bailey`s recomendation about 10yrs ago.Still waterproof & cost less than a tenner,but then I have never been a follower of fashion.

Sounds like my kind of glove.
I bought a pair of Dainese (thats weegie talk for doing a punter over) bout 10 years ago £95. Total shxte lasted not a lot. I could of bought 9 pairts of lidl gloves for that... wish I did.

Hi, I got a pair of Alpinestar Equinox xtrafit gloves on Popsky`s recommendation, not the warmest of gloves but definitely waterproof @ £95 from helmet city. The waterproof membrane is bonded into gloves not stitched so not as bulky and they don`t go inside out when you take them off.

I second this recommendation. Even though its more than what you want to spend, the quality and comfort is well worth it! Good luck in your search!

I have a pair of Richa waterproof gloves, which if cold - I add an extra layer inside. They were pretty cheap (less than £50?) but are surprisingly good.
Not sure what model they are, though

I'll second this as well, I've got the original Held own brand Air n Dry, they have been superb totally waterproof but the ability to be good in warn weather, I think my wife paid around the £125 mark

Really comfy, perfect spring / autumn gloves although I find they are ok for short rides in the winter as long as you have heated grips.
The waterproofing gave up last year, hence the second pair, but they were my main gloves for maybe 6 or 7 years.

Held mate as mentioned previously and Ride recommended as I recall. Use those for commuting and in the hour of motorway traffic it was pouring down Wednesday it had its baptism. Only thing it is not as warm as the true winter gloves but give a good feel. My favourite glove now for year round comfort.
