New to the group with R1200S

Hello all, I'm an expat living in the Czech Republic and have just purchased a 2007 R1200S. It came from Berlin in Silver, but was transformed at the dealership to a 'Martins' edition with a custom paint scheme and adding the Akra exhaust and wide rear wheel to the factory installed Ohlins, ABS, heated grips, on-board computer.

The one option I was not familiar with when I ran the VIN on bmwvin.com was option 585 SU ALTERNATIVE TRANSMISSION RATIO (3,36). From the little I've been able to find on this, there was a couple of different ratios on these bikes. Anyone know what I've got?

The previous owner had a Rapid Bike 3 in the original tank bank, but said he never used it. From what I've read, the module is able to remap the ignition and fuel injection and is switchable between 2 different maps. How do you switch between the maps? Any downside to reinstalling the module?

An interesting colour-scheme there - I quite like that.

Can't help with the Rapidbike 3, I'm afraid. Should be plenty of info available, though.
