Went to Mitchedever tyres over the weekend for a new set of Z6's. I was advised that Metzler now have a special tyre for the rear of the 'S' (at least for the 5.5" tyre) and is denoted by a suffix 'B'.
Metzlers guide states that the tyre has a stronger tyre wall.
None currently in stock but on their way, so used the standard Z6.

Steve,
Is that you now suited and booted for France. Have you a cabin on the ferry or are you slumming it in a chair.
What time are you planning to get to the ferry.

mines wearing Z6's at the mo and wearing quite well,
I'm usually on bridgestones....
not so keen on Z6's in the damp, good in dry but not as sticky, great in wet really push the water away.

They've just realised how heavy a standard S is, so they beefed up the sidewalls to cope
