I got stuck once, with the BCR, out in the sticks outside of Jurmala, in Latvia.
It was on a muddy gravel road that was covered with a thick layer of sawdust, for some reason.
It had rained a lot, so the mud had softened. Never have I felt just how heavy 210 kg+panniers are than when i turned the bike around on that road.
Strictly tarmac, I say!
