underseat plug ???

Please can someone advise me to the following.
Ive bought a R1100S 02' 42 k on the clock
Ive had a few early Boxers so I'm pretty O.K. with them. just fancied a modern model for the benefits that comes with one.
It came with a plug hanging out from the offside to attach a Optimate. I have one so happy days to top it up if it gets left any length of time.
However .... Under the seat, offside again is a female two pin plug ... I am presuming this is for a power out 12 volt socket ??? Ive seen one a while ago with a bracket to fit to the frame but i think that was for the 1100RT.
before i run the tester over it to check whether its putting out power thought I might ask ... Lazyitus on my part.
I would stick a pic to show but cant see how or if you can...
any advice please
