Thinking of fitting a set of Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT's on my K, anyone here have any experience of them and especially their longevity?

I'm sure the only difference with the GT over the standard PR4 is the side wall stiffness, hence why it's made for heavier machines.
My PR4 on the 12s, front replaced at 10056 miles, there was still at least 1000 miles left but a trip abroad sealed the old tyre fate. The rear was replaced at 7664 that had a good 1500 miles also but another trip meant a replacement was fitted.

Sounds like Steve is still at his "winter plumage weight"

I think that Michelin have the "long life - sports-touring" market sown up - and folk can buy, knowing that the grip will be great, and the tyre will hold the profile for ages......

I use the 4 GT and they grip really well, have loads of feel and put it this way, good enough for a full-on hoon:)
