Spotted a R1200S Colgate colours on the B667 going from Medbourne to Uppingham. Rider had silver helmet on. I was on the R1200GS Adv as you were leaving town.

Sunday morning? I was on those roads, riding with a friend on his new KTM Adventure, but he would have been way back.

I did see a couple of GS riders, so I probaby nodded to you.

I hate being spotted, i get paranoid in case I have been seen riding poorly.

No, Monday about midday. Though it could be you. Not many Colgate R1200S around and I know you've got one and not too far from Market Harborough or Lutterworth for that matter.

Not me. I was on the same roads on Sunday morning, wobbling round the hairpin. The McDonalds on the A6 was packed with bikes. Busiest I have seen it. You have to play nice because the speed traps are out in force around there first hint of sunshine.

Not doing the Melton Mowbry road. It is a magnet for trouble. Try this road next time.

But - are there pies at the end of your suggested route? :?

Pies are important! Fish'n'chips are a close second :)

Hi Tanneman,

I have done that route on my bicycle, but not on the m'bike. I'll give it a go, but Blackal is right, have to find my way back to Melton Mobray for pork pie. (Just don't tell my wife, she thinks pork pies are more dangerous to my health than the bike)

Pork pies are over rated. You're wife is spot on. Nicely educated I see.

Get a convertible and enjoy a more civilized approach.
