Does anyone know where I can get hold of a compatible female electrical connector to use in the accessory power socket. I want to use it to charge up with an optimate, so just need the connector with some wires.
Thanks

Okay, this isn't what you're after, but just checking that this is the type of plug you're talking about (as I got the wrong end of the stick to start with):
2mm 2-pole connector
I had a quick look, but couldn't find one with both connections female.
I imagine BMW will have them, but I dread to think how much they'll charge (the accessory plug - £2.50 ish elsewhere - was £7 from BMW!).

The connector on my bike is definately a 2 prong jobbie, in a rectangular c/s housing, located under the seat or r/h side panel.
That Maplin plug may fit, the shape looks like it is to prevent polarity reversal, as it is a little shaped inside (although hard to get a good look into).
It looks like the plug on my step son's remote controlled "Growler". I will look into this further.
Thanks.
