Dynojet III QuicK Shift?

All,
I have a PC III on my R1200s and jolly good it is too!
I also have the HUB-002 Unit with the 2 position map switch although I rarely switch it to the "lesser" map.
I know that I can just plug and play the Dynojet Quick Shift unit but wondered if anyone knew whether it was a "Push" or "Pull" type as both exist?
I suspect it is for the upshifts only.
Anyone?
Best regards,
David

Have a look at the change rod....
Does it push to up shift or does it pull to up shift?
Pretty sure it doesn't operate on downshifts

Thanks Al - Will do that but was wondering if anyone had fitted one who might confirm and pass on any tips etc.
I wouldn't expect it to operate on downshifts either - The BMW one on my stolen K1300S didn't.
Best regards,
David

Deffo a 'push' type based on the parts diagram below and deffo only works on upshifts.

However Dynojet site does not list a Shift Sensor for the R1200S

You may be able to take one of their standard sensors and adapt the end connections to suit.
Translogic list two options for the R1200S either a 'pull' or a 'push' type (I guess the pull/push options are dependent on whether you are running a standard lever or rearsets??). See link below for the 'push' option but they are a bit steep and I doubt will work with a Powercommander set-up.

Push/Pull is
GP shift (push down to shift up)or regular shift. So they look at it as does a push on the lever trigger a shift change or a push down.

HAHA..I didn't even understand it when I read it again..I'm going to blame my keyboard and or my brain not working.
Push/pull sensors are not dependent on standard levers / rearsets. Its on the shift setup.
I've not had a chance to play with my BCR yet (too cold outside) but usually its just flipping the shift linkage to reverse the shift.
Std shift is (1 down 5 up)
GP layout is basically the reverse. You push down on the shifter to shift up thru the gears . It makes it easier and quicker to upshift when racing
Quickshifters only work when advancing gears. If you want control downshifting then you need to look at a slipper clutch.
