Where are they now??

Post by JamesL »

An idle lunch hour spent dialling some of my older bikes into the DVLA Dbase: https://www.vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/.

My 1970s Hondas are all deceased.
My 1979 R65 (mine 1981 - 1990) is on SORN, so still with us.
My trusty red 1987 R100RS (1990 - 2005) is taxed and MOT'd, hurrah

Looks like the beemers do hang on in there...

This is also another good website for findoing out how many are left - https://www.howmanyleft.co.uk/
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity
