Welsh Weekend 2015

The Wild Pheasant is more than happy again to extend another welcome to us, but I've also asked

www.baskervillehall.co.uk

Near Hereford to quote, as a finger in the air date I said the weekend of the 24th / 25th April 2015 to them (as they need an idea of the date to quote) and they reckoned they could offer a two night dinner, bed and breakfast for £129 per person. I tried to squeeze them down to the price band the WPH does for us at £99 but failed :)

However, they do have additional options such as bunk house accommodation, camping and at the other end of the scale more expensive exec rooms apparently.

I know very little of the area but the Brecon Beacons etc is not far so I guess there's some interesting riding down that end of Wales.

So up to you lot, do you want me to pursue this line, or the Pheasant or some other option. I must admit I do feel a bit like I'm betraying the Pheasant as they've gone out of their way to make us welcome :)

Why not both, one spring-ish, one autumn-ish?

Continue the relationship with the WP, but the Baskerville bunk house / camping option gives the chance of a weekend to people who find it difficult to stretch to hotel/b&b prices.

The Beacons / Epynt / Powys have some excellent roads.

If there's a "will" for it it sounds a great idea, although someone else can take over the reins on Baskerville, hell it's like herding cats sorting the WPH at times :D
