Hello

Post by mrjon »

Hi,

I've been lurking around here for a while since I got my R1200S a couple of years ago(now sadly gone) and thought it about time I signed up and did things properly.
The garage has been exclusivly BMW for the last 10 years, while I've dabbled with the Ks and have an S, I've come to the conclusion that the Boxer is really where my heart is!
All the best

That's because I don't want to get robbed  .No, I'm in Derbyshire, I must have missed the location when filling out the registration form.
Yes, thats the current garage, there was a very nice R12S in there until recently but I'm out of room, not to mention credit !
Thank's for the welcome Gents.

That's certainly a dedication to BMW :D

We'd love to see photos and details of any modifications/upgrades :D

Al

I suppose I should really diversify my bike brands, but you know what it's like, nothing ever feels quite like a BMW.
I've not done any mods or upgrades to these particular machines, due the nature of what they are I'm planning on keeping them as standard as possible. There's a couple of extra pieces of HP carbon gone on the HP4,hugger, chain guard etc but thats about it. The R12S I had was treated to a Hilltop remap, and the ohlins was set up for me at an ohlins service centre. That completely changed the handling of the bike for only £50, I'd really recommend it.

And here's the S (sadly now gone)
