this was my Uncles R69, sold after he died by Bonhams.

I so wish I'd had the £9200 to have bought it

Me too, quality never goes out of fashion or drops in price. I am sure he had peace of mind and comfort that it was his bike until the end.

He was, he had a lovely smoke R90S then an R80 then a K75S. I still have the R80RS
