Greetings to all,
I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this forum for creating such a useful and helpful place to share knowledge and compare notes, plus the banter is an entertaining bonus. You do seem to be a friendly bunch.
The quality of my recently acquired 99, R1100S for me is not its speed, power or comfort for that matter, it is how it joins everything together in such a comprehensively usable way. I am immensely impressed by its capability to confidently perform and inspire confidence. Brings a smile every time I ride her.
Thanks again
Bryan

Welsh weekend
Thanks for the welcome, I think I shall fit into the nuthouse very well!
I had hoped to ride over to put names/faces to the club at the welsh weekend but I was rather unwell so spent the day in bed; I am recovering after a stroke and some days are better than others. Maybe next year, god willing.

You would be more than welcome - I have fond memories of my first Boxertrix meet - hooning around the Scottish Borders with Boxerscott and then going for a few drinks before more hooning around the next day then more drinks and food in the evening - that was when I'd had some practice on the bike!! much fun!!
