Errr, why does lead poisoing only affect scumbags.? Decent people were unaffected. :roll:

Whether that particular theory can ever be proven or not, I'm definitely glad they got rid of lead from petrol. There was definite evidence linking lead in the atmosphere to health problems in children.

my understanding is that every where they took lead out of petrol was followed 20 years later by a huge decrease in violent crimes etc so fairly conclusive

It was claimed on radio last night that because "in real terms" (HATE that phrase) the price of alcohol had increased this has lead to a decrease in violent crimes :?
