Been doing it for a couple of years now, nothing to it! Most painful bit is taking the plaster off afterwards :D

I've been a blood donor since I was old enough to donate. 3 reasons.

1. Biscuits
2. I might need some back sometime
3. When I worked at Ford it gave you an hour off to indulge number 1.

a- if that means anything?

What Al said - I got my gold badge (50 DONATIONS) time before last so next one in April is 53 :P
There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

I can't donate in the UK because of my frequent trips to Texas where West Nile virus is endemic.
I can't donate in Texas because I lived in the UK in the 1980's where we all ate cow brain burgers full of nasty preons or something.

I don't know which is going to kill me first. :(

Not quite a bronze, but same boat wi meds for me,
I'm 'O'neg as well, so you'd think they could 'filter' out the medication somehow given how desperate they are for that blood type, musn't be worth the effort surely :?: shame, 'cause I'd happily keep donating :?
