First ride of 2014

Had my first spin out today as an excuse to warm up the oil ready for a change of filter and oil then a service.
Sunshine dry roads warm ish and bl**dy magic - spring and summer are on the way.
Went for a full tankful of juice and then the phone rang when I got back so didn't get around to the oil change.

Yep - thats what I thought.
Quite impressed with the Supreme Gel comfort seat pad I bought at the recent Telford twin shock off road show.
Good for a tankful without the aches I normally get but no good for scratching - too loose a feel and insulation between the arse/brain/throttle connection

Was out for only the second real run this year - today..........
Took the R-1 down to Moffat, St Mary's Loch, Selkirk and on to Jedburgh for coffee with Boxerscott.
Met Phooey (Chris) and Johnnyboxer at St Mary's Loch...............
Cracking weather, but a lot of cars on the road.
