No offence whatsoever an I am being a bit tongue in cheek, but how anyone missed that first time around is extraordinary. It was on MCN and every bike forum and magazine with articles written about it even. However yes it was worth watching for the first dozen times.

What's worrying is that the pannier only seems to take a slight nudge, but yet comes completely off.

It doesn't take much to break them there's a lot of momentum in a large motorcycle that a bit of plastic is never going to hold back

I had a big off on a Yamaha Diversion 900 with factory panniers.
The bike was a mess but those panniers stayed on.
