I think everyone got carried away in the hype - and nobody was afraid to criticise it.
It's incredibly one-sided, really slating Prost and many of his other rivals, whilst holding Senna up to be almost a god.
But the worst thing was the over-reliance on quotes from John Bisignano - he met Senna, you know... as he tells you many, many, many times.
If there's nothing else on, I may watch it, but, IMHO, it's not anywhere near as good as the hype.

I thought it was very good. And the real villain of the piece is Balestre rather than Prost.

I got it on download and watched it within the last month:
Senna was a fast driver.
Senna was
not a great driver.
That said - it's a watchable movie.

I'm not and F1 fan but went to the cinema with a mate who is. I sat through it but was quite bored, the F1 fan fell asleep.
He later watched the IOM TT movie that was out roughly the same time (albeit on his TV) and rang me half way through telling me how excellent it was. He is not a rider nor does he ever watch any motorcycle racing.
I had already seen the TT movie at the IMAX in 3D and thought it was easily the best motorcycle movie/documentary I've ever seen.

Very much so in fact. I bought the Blu-Ray of it a few months ago, it's an 'ok' watch but nothing earth-shattering imho. The way Prost is portrayed in the film is particularly bad.

That'll be because it's not a documentary.

As above, too one sided.
Balestre was an utter bell end.
