Clutch rattle

Is it normal to get a lot of clutch rattle on an R1200S when cold.
It goes away when warmed up,
My R1200C clutch is the other way around.
Silent when cold, but rattly when warmed up

It was the input shaft bearing in the gearbox when I had a clutch rattle.
Oyster. 1999 R1100S. Almost original.
