I know Chris has done deals on the Hawker batteries, and everyone that want's one already has one, but I'm looking to get one possibly and would be interested if anyone else wants one at the same time to try and get a deal.
BTW - I was speaing to Daren and motorworks this am about batteries and he said that if your bike has ABS and/or heated grips then it will already have bigger the 18ah battery and the strap will fit over the hawker. That means there must be two different battery straps available as BM parts I presume cos I know some people had problems with 'strap stretch' which is painful at the best of times

It's a link to a thread on the ukGSer forum... £40 for a PC680 !!!
You'll probably need to join the next forum that it links to to get at the good deal.

EDIT: Ok, I just joined. It's a second hand one (not an issue) but there's only one so not so exciting after all. Apologies.

Forgive me father for I have sinned... ex S owner moved onto pastures new with four cylinders and a chain... and back to a twin, albeit in a V.
Chears Alan - It's just me at the moment, and possibly you too then - I'll let you know. Are those two for those other babies in your ever growing stable then?Archie wrote:Jason
If you're looking to get numbers up for Chris, I will be up for 2 batteries, although of different sizes. Hopefully the minimum of 4 can be different types.
Cheers

Ah, so you approve of batteries then? Not too new fangled for you, Mr. Ludd?boxerpan wrote:different sizes no problem last time, better check with the Guru of course

You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
As far as I'm aware the powers that be can't track you from a power source - I may however be completely wrongPaul wrote:Ah, so you approve of batteries then? Not too new fangled for you, Mr. Ludd?boxerpan wrote:different sizes no problem last time, better check with the Guru of course

Depends if it's plugged in, or not...boxerpan wrote: As far as I'm aware the powers that be can't track you from a power source - I may however be completely wrong
