Getting my bearings

Has anyone found any alternative (ie cheaper!) sources for either the paralever bearings and/or the front wheel bearings before I go official (ie expensive). Either that or does anyone have enough of a specification that would help me look for an alternative source?

Jason beware!

I did a bit of hunting on the web before I swapped these bearings. (Play at 9 and 6 O'clock on the wheel! rock solid now, lovely). I found an American rider who described his tale of woe using non-BMW bearings. He was really encouraging R owners to use only the real part, as the pattern one failed so quickly. I didn't think they were that expensive. They are quite small fo rthe job. regular checking for mine from now on.
good luck

jason...paralever bearings are a BMW only size! You might have better luck with the wheel bearings...one side is a double row bearing...the other is standard single.....pretty sure you'd be able to get that one in pattern parts?
Bailey.
ps.got your box of bits here mate:seat cowling,indicator pod,rocker covers,etc.

Ditto what the others have said.£22 the pair from my dealer.
Wheel bearings i got from a bearing supplier at a saving off about a £10-15 if i remember correctly.
