Apparently adds to performance, and of course looks really trick.
True ?
Anyone got ?
Of course I'm not looking for an excuse not to polish my headers again.

Dont really see the point unless it is protecting the rider from heat.

I suppose it could be used on a turbo with log primaries to keep exhaust gas enthalpy up.

Other than that I cant see it helping gas speed much.

Helps to retain heat for performance apparently.A cheap lash up to hide dodgy welds on botched pipes or to cover up flaking / rotting chrome or black iron....caveat emptor.

Unless your a classic owner and/or a dry weather only rider, don't do it in the UK, all you'll do is create a lovely 'nest' for rust to rot your pipes.
Yep it can look good on a custom machine, but as for performance enhancing its really marginal if at all, Few chaps tried on the Buell forum and just got corrosion problems and no extra BHP.
