Can anyone tell me the length of a GS Torque Arm? I believe my bike is the Sports spec, so may already have a shorter arm anyway, and I want to check before I buy one.
What it may mean is I look to get something even shorter made up. Does anyone know if there is an ultimate limitation on that? In other words, how far can you go with the swingarm before the driveshaft joint(s?) run out of play?

GS Torque Arm length?

Assuming this is an 1100:
You need to keep the uj angle at the front, the same as the uj angle at the back.
So- if you increase or decrease the shock length; you should alter the torque arm length to regain you matched uj angles.
If you just change the torque arm length; you ruin the matched angles, and say "Hello" to vibration, shagged ujs, etc.
