Yer bugger

Post by tanneman »

I did all the oil changes today on the 11S and pulled the spark plugs. This is only a 18000mls service but since the engine and drive train works a bit harder I did them all. So the spark plugs is white on the LH cylinder meaning it is running lean. It is going to get a throttle body balance and set the valves, but for today this is all I'm doing because I start night shift tonight. So I thought it would be a good idea to change the fuel filter. Good thing I worked with my safety goggles on. There was petrol sprayed everywhere due to my momentary incompetence. This was my sh!tty attempt at draining the tank. If that was not enough getting the damn thing out was another struggle. Undoing those itsy bitsy crappy pipe clamps had me going for a while. Luckily all is well that ends well and it went it quicker than it came out.

I still have a spare fuel filter from the last service because Motorworks send you the full package. Any offers for it?

 Not too close to the tank now, I know they're agricultural, but don't think they run well on Tetley
