Site problems or virus?

Post by minivin »

I believe I have just received an email from Delpel, email being perrys2@cytanet.com.cy

Supposedly Del is suffering from:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: phpbb_rtrim() in /files/home/blackbriard/phpBB2/viewtopic.php on line 498
Could Gromit or someone else confirm that this is Delpel as I would have thought I would have been the least obvious to contact about such issues

I get that message if I go to topic instead of latest post.

Also the key on my keyboard is intermittently flakey, so if I type 'messae' it come out as 'messae'. A riht pain.

Minivin,

It was me who sent the message. I was getting desperate and yours was the first profile in the memberlist who had an email address quoted. I couldn't send anything to anybody else as it kept giving that bloody error message.

Sorry to trouble you.

Fellas,

We had a couple of problems applying some security patches to the site over the weekend, but all should be well again now. Have all of your problems wth PMs and logging on sorted themselves out now, or are there any lingering issues?

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.
