Be gentle lol

new to both the site and the BMW type thingummy's although my brother has had 2 GS's and now has a 1200R so kinda know what they are about.

Just bought an 1100S and rather pleased with it, plenty clean, comfy, fairly quick, bit sportier riding position than i expected but nice, the guy who had it was a "polisher" :D

No doubt I'll be bothering everyone with stupid and obvious questions but I'll take the flack when I do.

Welcome, don`t be afraid to ask questions, try the search button first it may may save some of the flack, you still might get some but you will definitely get an answer.
Where are you in Cumbria? I have a mate with an immaculate 1100 who lives in Arnside.

Welcome Hoggy - hope you have fun here.

Cumbria? Beautiful part of the world - I know the place more from walking in the mountains than riding the roads though.

The Trixters are raiding Hawes the w/e of 19-21st July so pop over if you get the chance, even if it's just to say a brief 'hello'. Check in Days Out for more info. :)

Hi all,
I'm from penrith so hard side is my usual quick ride out, I'll see if I can get to Hayes if I'm not out on my trials bike, that's the no 1 bike to be honest.
