Great looking bike and on the "Island" too, man you got it made. Been following the racing on ITV4 and its breath taking with Michael Dunlop in the form of his life. Brings back memories of his dad and uncle, was lucky enough to be there to watch Joey from 1976 through to 83 great times. The weather looks to be playing ball here's hoping it continues for the rest of the week. Have a good one. :D

Great spot all right, here I am with the man of the moment (and the future, as at 24 he has a hell of a career ahead of him)

Ah haaaaa! There you are.

Always good to put a face to the name. :)

I like the cow skin markings on the fence behind you.

There's a town 'not far' from here called Mooball.

The locals decided to capitalise on the name and viola:

BUT ... there may be more in the 'name' than first thought.

For decades, locals had reported sightings of a very shy, wary, reclusive and fleet-footed creature of feminine appearance, said to inhabit the deep, secluded, and heavily forested mountain valleys.

How could we draw this delicate creature into the open for our cameras?

How could we attract this legendary Siren of The Forests?

Ahh ha!!!

Appeal to her motherly instincts ...

(thread hijack alert)
There's some great pictures of Mooball shops on this bloke's flickr site: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fishyone1/ ... otostream/ - including the Moo Moo Cafe but he says it's closed because of the new motorway bypass. Even though I've never been there and probably never will, that makes me feel really sad.

Hopefully the motorway hasn't scared away the very shy, wary, reclusive and fleet-footed creature of feminine appearance.

The bike looks great, eyore. I'm sure it attracts a lot of attention whenever you park up. It should be ideally suited to the Manx roads too.

I remember that Quayle grocers from the dim and distant past but can't recall exactly where it is?

Harrrh. The last time Mooball was on the main highway was abt 1873 when the bush ranger Thunderbolt was around.

Next time you're in town I'd be more than happy to escort you in a frontiering expedition to the Mooball Farmer's Markets and Body Painting display.

Thanks. Its suprising how with many many thousands of bikes on the island they were all the same, there were very few bikes that really stood out like an R12s, or HP2S,the odd Laverda Jota, Triumph ,otherwise it was same old ,same old.
That pic of Quales grocery is in Kirkmicheal village.
