Braided hoses for clipons over Yoke.

Post by conkerman »

Hi.

Looking to raise the bars on my 1999 Non ABS R1100S.

Was looking to order from Venhill but was wondering how much longer than standard to make the hoses. I was thinking of specifying +40mm.

Does this seem sensible?

Cheers

Not sure what setup you're after but for my over the mudguard setup I got the line from the master cylinder to the caliper made at 75cm. That gives it enough slack not to pull it tight.

I was going for a 2 line from m/c to calipers.

I was thinking 40mm will be ample for the small increase in bar height?

I went for the Venhill twin line +50mm and its OK. +40 may be a little snug.
One thing to consider. Venhills kit comes with 45 degree caliper banjos. I needed the 90s for mine. It depends which caliper you have.
A call sorted this out
