My R1100s was actiing up a couple of weeks back, it kept cutting out for no reason, ran like a bag of spanners & at one point the throttle stuck open at 7k, nice.

I took it to SBW BMW last week & picked it up today, it's almost like a new bike, I've had the bike 3 years and it has never ridden as well as it does now. It pulls like a train & is a tight as an eskimo's nad sack.

The reason it was acting up was that the throttle position sensor was completely out of whack and was doing next to nothing. I've had the throttle body replaced recently and I can only think that the shop that did that, didn't check the sensor itself. According to SBW that all has to be done by computers nowadays, so the chances are the shop I took it to didn't have any of those gubbins, if that is the case, one would have thought they should have mentioned it at some point? :?

So, a big thumbs up to SBW, Hertford for a job well done.

The GS911 has the functionality to set the TPS I was surprised how far out mine was on my BCR when I first checked it
