1200 indicator bulbs

Post by f90x »

I can't go out and have a look as it 25 miles away. can anyone tell me if the pins on the indicator bulbs are offset or straight please. I need to order some chrome ones.

Also if anyone has a cheap scource that would be great. I found these but never heard of the brand

Philips are £15ish for a pair.

Ta much

White lights on ebay do Chrome coated amber bulbs for clear indicators,
drop them an email if you can't find the ones you need.
ebay Item number: 370198439462

Ta Ned. That's useful but for the sake of ease I'll go for the Philips from the UK. Same money in the end.

I don't think it matters as you can file off the contact if its offset or in line and doesn't fit and they still work just fine!!!

The only place I could source them was from hornig in Germany!! I can' remember how much I paid but it was £££££££££!!

I'll dig out my old orange bulbs this evening and check for you Steve, but its much cheaper to just spray your orange bulbs silver, this works perfectly well for a fraction of the price of chrome bulbs.

Steve

EDIT according to nippy normans they are not offset

Dave, you do know that we are talking R1200S? Just checked in my garage and they are definitely straight and not offset, they may be offset on your BCR though?
