Exhaust question,.

Got my new (to me) 1100S home yesterday, and was having a poke around it.

The bike has a Remus exhaust fitted, with what looks like road legal cans, the odd (to me) bit was that the collector/cat has 2 'up pipes' heading up the the underseat area.

Anyone have any info on this exhaust?

My S is only going to be used as a commuting tool, is it worth selling the Remus and replacing with a Y piece/standard cans.

Mine has two pipes leading to the cans, it's also a Remus, I somehow suspect it may not be road legal ..... Johnny 5's Remus looks exactly the same as mine but was noticeably quieter, much to his dismay ...... sorry Johnny

I'll have a look later, its not at all loud, bet they weren't cheap.
