It must be a blessing not to have salt on the roads. Keep on biking down south.

Yep I do 100 km per day + w/end blasts through our hills. Bike is running well, I was going to pull it of the road at 100,000 km, this winter but its running so well I might just keep going. My main concern was the clutch, its not playing up, more of a look see really.
Its starting to cool down a bit here so w/end rides will be less often for a while.

No problems at all right through winter unless its slippy. Had to have bike recovered a few months back due a corroded connector to fuel pump (it is under the tank and worth checking). Apart from that and set of swing arm bearings, everything is fine.

Hi
I,m now on 106,000 miles. Bike used every day for 120 mile round trip to work. Still on the original clutch ... no signs of it going yet. Bike still scrubs up well, even after the crap weather weve had. one of the best bikes Ive owned.

Same here Dave. Got down to 19C last night. Had to close the windows.
A welcome change from the weeks of 35C+, fires, floods, tornados, mouse plagues, snake plagues (after the mice).
Not much pestilence tho' (unless you count the camel plague, feral cat plague, cane toad plague, fox plague, and the incompetent pollie plague) and I haven't heard of anyone afflicted by boils. Oh well - there's always next year...
Winter will soon be upon us with the mornings getting down to 10C or so. Brrrrr...
;-^)

Hi,
I'm currently using about £85 of fuel a week. Oil(20/50 mineral) + Filter every 10weeks. Tyres, mich PR2, pair every 16 weeks (get a bit squared off but still legal when i change them, at around 10K).
