Bar bag

Post by slparry »

I've just ordered one of these

https://www.hein-gericke.co.uk/catalogs ... 4312500000

from HG, seems a useful bag and a good price in the sale, I'll probably use it on my F650 but thinking about it it "may" fit on the top yoke of the 'Cup so would be useful for carry sunglasses, wallet, phone etc.

Be quick tho' cos I think the discount offer ends today

I've got one of these too, but didn't sit right even on the GSA, where there are loads of places to hang stuff.

I just put it to good use as a tool kit bag and keep it in the top box, sorted!

I've used a Touratec bar bag on my RT for over three years and 70,000 miles and it still in good shape. One of the most useful things I've fitted to a bike. Bung keys, small water bottle, visor wash etc in there.
Does fill up with water tho if it chucks it down for long enough and you parked (stays mostly dry if moving). Perhaps I should try reproofing it with something...

If it does let water in, which is possible if permanently mounted I'll just melt a small drain hole in it, it'll still be useful for a few odds n ends tools etc I guess :)
