Well it's been a long, long time since I was on here...& an awfull lot has happened - some good & some not so good...
Anyway - to cut a long story short, I miss my old R1100s (Project Marmite). I came close to buying it back last year from a dealer in Bradford, I kick myself for not doing

Well I was wondering if anyone knew of it's whereabouts & if the current owner would consider selling it back to me ?
Regards Neil.

Thought I'd seen it for sale somewhere this year, possibly on pistonheads, which is not a site I frequent, so it would only have been from a link on here I suppose.

Hi Pete,
health issues are mostly ok - one "issue" since the operation is: I don't know what it's like to hungry anymore.... I don't know why - it's not really a problem as long as my wife remembers to feed me regularly....

Other than a fair few pains that I'm pretty much used to now lifes good thanks.
Still got the VMax - I can'r see me ever getting rid of that to be honest - it's a fantastic machine, but although I think it's a gorgeous looking bike - it's not Project Marmite & sometimes I would prefer to ride out on that if I had the choice.
If I can't find it & persuade the owner to part with it I think O'm going to build another one - alhtough next time I would start with a bike with a black engine etc... I think that would just look that bit better....
