A fu##ing arial it's a bike not a f###ing scooter you'l be wanting twenty mirrors next!
Yup they do get shi##y under thair clothes [treat it like a good woman undress her a few times a year it will keep her and you happy]
It will also enable you to find the bits that need a good rub to keep them working properly
also you will find it a better ride if you keep it [her] well lubricated
Another of Dai's top tips Dai

I might have mentioned this once or twice, but ACF-50 is the key (do not spray it on woman tho, they tend not to corrode until they are much older)
I strip mine down (Bike, not wife) and spray the ACF-50 on it around October time.
My 74,000 mile 2007 RT12 has been through 3 salty British winters, ridden daily to work 44 mile round trip AND the council salting depot is right next door to my works unit, ice and snow free roads but loads of salt and grit in the winter so the ACF must work.
My bike is still completey corrosion free.
Get some for when you've rebuilt your bike and it'll keep it in good order.

Oh and before I forget, get a strap from your center stand to the front down pipes to stop the stand folding up if it starts to tip forward.
The RT12 need a jack to keep the front up and remove front wheel so the weight bias looks to be different between the two models fer sure.
