Well i went for the bog standard shoc's and am more than happy, in all honesty i don't think i could have fitted anything better, bearing in mind the fact that if you get fancy shoc's you will need to get them set up profesionally to get the best out of them then the settings will need changing when you have a pillion or luggage mine stay the same wether i have a pillion, luggage, both, or am solo, they work and work well.
It's up to you of course but i don't feel it nessacerry to have loads of settings and gadgets that i wont use, the more setting's you have the bigger chance you have of cocking it up i want to get on the bike and go if Ann wants to come with me she can climb on the back and we go i don't have to adjust anything
Before anyone say's i ride like a pussy ask those that have seen my bike no chicken strips on the back and past the tread pattern on the front centre stand ground away both sides, did i mention it's raised over a standard bike as well.
Save your money get the standard Hagon or Nitron [Nitron don't do a front] shock's and with the money you save get a pair of rocket sprockets!

That explains why you were a bit furtive with that price of sandpaper when you were down for the S/West bashDai wiskers wrote: Before anyone say's i ride like a pussy ask those that have seen my bike no chicken strips on the back and past the tread pattern on the front centre stand ground away both sides, did i mention it's raised over a standard bike as well.

I've got wilbers on mine and think its brilliant but I've never ridden an S on standard suspension. It's not the top model shocks but the are adjustable at the bottom with rebound and compression on the same adjuster.
Suits me as you just twist it a few clicks either way depending on what you're doing.
