A few weeks ago I had a lowside on a roundabout. Don't know why it happened, conditions were dry, speed not excessive and there wasn't any nasties on the roundabout surface. Had the bike recovered and while it was in the garage at home and I was tearfully surveying the damage, I happened to spin the rear wheel and noticed a knocking coming from the driveshaft area at regular intervals. The bike has done around 11k miles and has been serviced at bm dealers. Is this normal

Hmmm!,I wonder. That would indicate that the uj momentarily seized, causing loss of traction. The bike freewheeled ok after the accident though? Will def have to be a trip to the dealers when I get the bike back.

I Had this on an R80 RT A trip to the dealers resulted in a new Wheel bearing The outer race had cracked this causing the clonking noise
