Boys and girls, I have set up a group with Club MSV for the forth coming track day at Bedford Autodrome the 6th October. Here is the e-mail from Club MSV containing the particulars and an email I send out to my club. You are welcome to join us for a bit of track time.
''I contacted Club MSV and a group has now been set up. Once the bookings reach 10 a discount of 10% will be applied. With this we get a garage reserved. Please contact Club MSV on phone no 0843 453 3000 or if you want to speak to Jason who I dealt with phone no 01474 875219 quoting OMC to be allocated to the group or e-mail the lad at jason.kluger@clubmsv.co.uk. A phone call would probably be better. Please confirm by Thursday 4th October as the bookings will be processed on that day. It doesn't matter if we are more than 10 as long as we can make the 10% discount I would be happy. I'll see if there is a bit more leeway if the group goes over 10. The places has been reserved in the intermediate and advance group. If anybody wants to join in the novice group let me know so I can ask Club MSV to alter the reserved spaces. Please do not let this put you off from attending a track day at Bedford Autodrome. Novices are most welcome and we encourage people to do track days not just for the thrill of it but also to learn.
Very important, the noise limit for Bedford Autodrome is a 101dB. Use a road legal exhaust, I do not want you to be turned back as you will loose your place and money. If you just scraped it through noise testing at Snetterton you will not make it at Bedford. There is also 2 noise sensors on track to monitor the drive by noise. Ducati Panigale owners beware as the standard exhaust fitted to your bike is excessively loud and you might want to noise test it before you book.
Finally the long term weather forecast looks promising for 6th October over the last 2 weeks. I'll say no more.''
From Club MSV
''Hi Josef,
Thank you for your call yesterday regarding organising a group booking at Bedford Autodrome on Saturday 6th October for the Oakley Motorcycle Club.
As discussed, a group has now been set up for you under the name OMC with 10 spaces being put on hold for you shared between the Intermediate and Advanced groups.
Please ask your members to place their bookings with us by phone on 0843 453 3000 quoting OMC to be included in the 10% group discount upon reaching 10 bookings. Unfortunately bookings made via our web site would not be included in your eventual discount although they can still be counted towards your group.
For your own information, please find below a link to the event containing all the relevant information for the day:
http://www.clubmsv.com/bike-home/event- ... uctid=1561
Given that the event is not very far away, if you are happy for us to set a date of Thursday 4th October as the date on which bookings will be processed, we would then have sufficient time to contact participants should the target number not be reached.
Finally, as promised please find below some links to our web site explaining how our group booking scheme works and what we can offer groups of varying size.

I'm in. I was only thinking the other day about how to squeeze in a trackday to finish the season before the winter stripdown.
I'll call Jason tomorrow and confirm.
