The handbook says 31 psi front & Rear but have just had BT014's fitted and the bridgestone web site says 36/42, have been running 31/31 for last 300 miles (when 014'2 fitted) and feels fine to me, anyone got 014's (or I guess 010's) and any guide to which pressure it should be?

Definitely 36 / 42 for the BTs.

Are you sure about the 31 / 31 std pressures? I can only remember the pressures in bar but I though std was 2.2F / 2.5R and the BTs 2.5F / 2.9R

I was nervous about the higher pressures at first, especially in the wet, but they work brilliantly and steer slightly quicker too.

As a rule, always use the tyre manufacturer's recommended pressures, NOT the BMW ones. Makes a big difference, especially to longevity.

I run mez4b on the front and the tyre guy recommended 39psi at the front and 40-42 rear.
The mez 4b has a more rigid sidewall hence it needs the extra psi.
Steers so sweetly like on rails.

I run 35 front 40 rear with my Sportec's, don't go with the BMW pressures they are wrong.

Dropped mine down from manufactures recommended 36/42 as it makes the tyres last alittle longer, not so much wear in the middle. This was recommended my Mark Hammond of MH Racing who stated tyre manufatures want you to wear the middle out quicker so you can buy more tyres.

Doh!, Many thanks for your help, 31 F/R is my car!, have been running same on the bike, seemed fine to me - which probably says something about the standard of my riding. . . . .
