I ordered some parts, and put the FJR through an MOT, and I've been riding the FJR for the last few weeks. I've started scraping the blistered paint off the front of the R1100S, so I can respray the front of the engine when I replace the oil seals on the banjo.

Now I've found another leak. I've looked at the fiche, is this an oil pressure regulator? Can I simply undo the bolt, change the washer, and then tighten it up, or is there more too it?

That oil pressure regulator is just a 'sump' bung, then there is a spring (25mm long) behind it that holds a valve body. I would drain the oil before removing it, not sure how much might fall out. The oil cooler return pipe banjo bolt is similar, a lot of oil behind it. That bolt on mine was only 'finger' tight for 25000 miles! New sealing washers should sort both issues.

I sorted the leaks at the weekend. Corrosion had caused them. New washers, and it's now oil tight.

I drained the oil first, and removed the oil filter, very little oil came out when I removed the banjo and the 'sump' bung.
