Kellermann LED indicators.

Post by crucial »

Typical, after saying to Gus in another post that my Motrax led indicators were holding up well one of them has expired :x

So............I ordered a pair of Kellermanns latest led ones which are the mutts nuts. Only problem is I thought the price quoted on their site was for two, it is infact, for one

I am now £97.00 lighter in the pocket. After complaining to them that this was not clear on their website they gave me £20 off (better than nothing)and a promise they will amend the site to make the pricing clearer.(am now £77 lighter in the pocket)

Just thought I would bring this to your attention as i think for £97 they should be gold plated

Gus, did you get some?

Paul.

Gus

Problem is that there's no give in this indicators.
The main frame lugs could snap if someone bumped into them

Hi Gus, yes you still need resistors as the halogen lamp is only 10w, you should be able to remove the lens to replace bulbs. As I said before mine corroded really badly and I couldn't get the bulbs out, but having spoken to Kellermann recently they assure me early corrosion probs. have now been sorted.

Julian, they are now rubber mounted which stops them snapping off (been there...) and also saves the subframe lugs

With these indicators, does one have to drill out the square locating hole in the bike's indicator brackets? I bought a pair of mini Motrax flashers a while ago but their threaded part is too big.

Richard, my original indicator mounts were lopped off long ago. The Kellermanns have an M8 thread :)
