Stempy -
About the Two Brothers pipes.
(I thought about sending a pm since I dont know anyone else running TBR pipes - then again someone may be interested and thats the point of a forum!)

The problem is vibration.
I don't usually take a passenger so I hadn't noticed before, but my Mrs after a 30 minute run up to Brands, said the vibration through the seat was so bad she nearly puked. An it wasnt just my driving.

If I remember right, you run the pipes very loose. My trouble is I cant do that. Just getting the long centre bolt up into the housing means there is no movement at all in the pipes.
Got any ideas for loosening it somehow or damping the whole set up?

Thanks, Harry.

Perhaps you could run a longer spacer between the clamps and use a longer centre bolt. Never had a woman complain about vibration before :D

Can you tell me what 'spec' that bolt is (size / pitch etc) ?

Thanks , harry.

Well, on mine it's an M8. Basically what you need to do is remove the circular brackets and fit a spacer in between them so that when you tighten the centre bolt you can tighten it without the brackets completely tightening around the cans. You could use a bit of ally tubing for the spacer which you can buy in B&Q, you just need to make sure it's big enough to fit an M8 bolt through, then just cut it to length. If you have problems then bring it over to me and we'll see if we can sort it here.
