Hi Gents + Lady!!

Last year did a group buy with some maintainence free batterys,as Lloyd has gone to a bigger tank and i'm about to do the same, were going to try and cram a PC545 in the battery carrier!!! for you others who don't want to go that route you can have the bigger(it'll fit) PC 680,their £2 dearer than last year and you've also got to work out how to get them from Birmingham, but PM me if your interested.

I had one last year.Fit and forget. And a bloody good deal considering what you get compared to a normal lead acid battery.Price and quality/peformance wise.

Thanks Chris but it's holding up at the moment (the optimate seems to be keeping it happy) the only fingers crossed moment is the first start of the day with a cold engine after which it seems ok.

I've also managed to nurse it along for the last four months so it should be fine until you get them in.

Cheers

Thanks for sorting that out Chris.
The batteries are at my place awaiting delivery next time I'm out and about.

I can confirm that the weave on the Pan that was mostly fixed by the second recall comes back with a vengence with five batteries in the panniers.

Doh....
