That's about what I paid for mine - albeit with 4800 miles on it. Heated grips, Ohlins, wide rear.

In the BM dealer shop 06 1200s fully loaded ,2500 miles ,yellow for £7350 .Now that is a deal. But about £3000 less than original price .Lost about 20% on my 05 1200RT when I sold it in Oct.

With Ohlins, wide rear, grips ?................. That's cheap!

I'm not listening........... I can't hear you............... Mmmmm.......

Yep, NOBMW had one black & black wheels same spec ( full options ) with 300 odd miles one owner (not a demo) for £7995.Gone over the NY...
Salesman told me the owner went back to a GS .What I don't get ,that after a test ride buy the bike then after 300miles decide is not for you and repurchase a bike that you just traded in :? ? Well that what the story was.

Although I loved the R1200s........... I did find that my back ached a bit after riding it for a couple of hours.

Now, I'm not suggesting that there is anything wrong with the 1200s - but the GS probably suits 90%+ of riders compared to ???% for the 1200s :?
